2012-20 - Lemon Cake (by ill-tempered [Jakov Cordina])
So… felt like baking a cake today so I went through the steps by clicking my camera since I hadn’t used it in quite a while. Slapped on my 50 mm - did a Brenizer method on the Kitchen Aid and later went all Manual on the cake… Ta DA! tastes deliciously lemony
Nothing better than a Sunday morning, sipping coffee or tea and listening to some relaxing music. Well that is the way I spent mine in preparation to working on some assignments. It was great, felt refreshing so I wanted to take a shot to commemorate this.
On another note, I couldn’t get the shot I wanted with the camera’s auto settings, wanted to take the shot as I was seeing it with my own eyes and the camera kept overlighting the damn shot. So I moved to manual mode and got the feeling I wanted, so from now on… Manual mode it is!
I know that bokeh should be served in colour… but you know me well by now, unconventional enough to try new things without veering away from any traditions… tried a retro B&W on this bokeh reflactions and thought I’d share it with you
